Metuchen Town Center and Transit Village

Metuchen, NJ

LRK facilitated a public participation process to create a master plan for the rail station area in central New Jersey’s Borough of Metuchen. As the Borough Planner for the last 20 years, LRK has guided the revitalization of downtown, the rail station area and various infill sites. This most recent visioning effort has resulted in a form-based code and architectural design standards to encourage infill development, streetscape enhancements, traffic calming, and improved pedestrian access to this multi-modal transit center.
